J. Paul's Story
Life
Most of the people who visit this profile will know me not as J. Paul Johnston [another listing here], but as Paul Fedash. This was my name when I was at Greeley Elementary, Streator HS, and for my first three years at Southern Methodist University.
After doing an MA and doctoral studies at UNC Chapel Hill, I joined the faculty of the Department of Political Science at the University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada, where I introduced and taught various courses...Expand for more
on political behavior and the psychology underlying it, political representation and electoral law and systems, voting behavior and elections, media and democratic politics, and social scientific research methods over the next 38 years. At the end of June, 2005, I retired from that position.
I'm in my second marriage and have three adult sons from my first marriage and an adult step-daughter and step-son from my current marriage. Alas, no grandchildren yet.
